INTERIM Healthcare Credentialing Director
A hospital in Maryland is actively seeking an INTERIM Healthcare Credentialing Director.
The Interim Healthcare Credentialing Director will lead the Medical Staffing Office which manages the health system's credentialing and enrollment process.
In this role, the Interim Healthcare Credentialing Director will ensure healthcare provider files are organized and updated, tracking hospital employee credentials, and updating the data bank regularly.
The Interim Healthcare Credentialing Director should have previous healthcare credentialing and physician enrollment process experience, along with their CPCS Certification (Certified Provider Credentialing Specialists) or CPMSM Certification (Certified professional Medical Staff Management from National Association Medical Staff Services).
The INTERIM Healthcare Credentialing Director is needed as the hospital recruits for a permanent Director opening.
If both parties are agreeable, the INTERIM Healthcare Credentialing Director may have the option to extend their contract or convert to the full time, permanent openings as a direct-hire employee of the hospital.
