Financial Analyst

Overview:
The Financial Analyst will oversee preparation and accuracy of financial and operational analytics related to the following CORT business operations.
This position will work closely with the Financial Analysis & Planning (FP) team and company leadership.
Will also be responsible for system integrity, reports and ad-hoc analysis.
Additionally, the Financial Analyst will act as the liaison between Finance & Accounting for all systems including but not limited to:
PeopleSoft (GL), Adaptive Planning (API), Oracle V2, etc.
They will own, manage, and assist the Director with all system upgrades & maintenance to ensure accurate & timely enterprise-wide reporting & analysis.
Overall, the Financial Analyst will act as a value-added business partner assisting business segment / unit leadership with financial, operational, and strategic management of their respective operating units.
This is a hybrid position, which means employees will have the flexibility to work from their home office two days per week and from the CORT office in either Capitol Heights, MD or Chantilly, VA other days of the week.

Responsibilities:
Financial Planning modeling and analysis.
System Administration Adaptive Planning SAAS System Administration Blackline SAAS Works with available resources to develop appropriate automated reporting and forecasting tools.
Demonstrates knowledge and application of accounting principles and internal controls.
Ensures financial systems are aligned & operating across the enterprise.
Manages Adaptive Planning integration & version updates.
Ensures Adaptive Planning data integrity and consistency.
Travel expectations (1-5%) Other duties will be assigned as appropriate.
Qualifications:
BS Degree in Accounting, Finance, or business discipline.
The ideal candidate will have 3
years of related work experience and / or training preferably in furniture rental, logistics, hospitality, or other associated business.
Power user level Excel Skills (Complex Formulas, Pivot tables, Tables, Charting, templates) Basic VBA modification Business intelligence and planning tool software experience Database interconnectivity, Query writing, SQL familiarity Problem structuring and strategic problem-solving skills.
PeopleSoft 2 tier system familiarization The candidate will be a results-driven, self-starter whose sense of urgency is tempered and disciplined by their concern for accuracy and quality of work.
