The Lourie Center TNP, Adventist HealthCare, seeks to hire a Social Worker who will embrace our mission to extend God's care through the ministry of physical, mental and spiritual healing.
We are currently offering a $1,000 sign-on bonus to qualified candidates!As a Social Worker, you will:
oDemonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide quality therapeutic care that is appropriate to the age, diagnoses, developmental state, and mental status of the students assigned to their caseloads.
oInitiate and implement complete, comprehensive psychosocial assessments.
oProvide individual, group, and case management to students and their families.
oParticipate in interdisciplinary treatment team to propose and develop strategies and interventions that would promote excellent therapeutic outcomes.
oAssist students in their development of self respect, dignity, integrity, and self-actualization through a multitude of traditional and adjunctive therapeutic services.
oCoordinate with the interdisciplinary team, referral sources, and community resources after care and supportive services to ensure a successful discharge planning process.
oDocument services provided and disseminates information/reports to community referral sources and agencies, ie, DJJ, DSS, HHS, APS, CPS, LCC , etc.
Qualifications Include:
oMaster's degree in social work or equivalent Master's Degree in a recognized health fieldoLicensed Graduate Social Worker (LGSW) or Licensed Certified Social Worker (LCSW-C) in MarylandoActive American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) requiredoSome post-master's experience in providing individual, family and group psychotherapy preferredoOne
years Social Work experience preferred oExperience in a school setting or Inpatient setting preferredoKnowledge of psychological disorders & abnormal psychology related to adolescents oExceptional conflict resolution, crisis management, and time management skills oAbility to maintain control in volatile/hostile situations, e.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
